Extended KRSG Map Area
Between the Keswick and Threlkeld areas, the A66 has formed much of our northern boundary since we set up in 2020. Over the years, however, we have identified a small number of key locations north of the A66 where work has been needed. With the agreement and support of our neighbouring Binsey group — in whose map area these sites originally fell — we have been active in those locations for some time.
More recently, we have been working with the Binsey group to agree revised boundaries that better reflect how each group operates on the ground. Our updated map is attached, and a link is also provided to the Northern Red Squirrels website, where all local group areas are shown along with contact details.
We hope these revised maps provide greater clarity, particularly when reporting red and grey squirrel sightings, and help ensure information is directed to the most appropriate local group.
