Would you like to become a member too?
If you make a one-off donation of £15 or more, or set up a monthly donation, you can also opt for 12 months’ membership of Keswick Red Squirrel Group.
There is nothing extra to pay. For a one-off donation, £15 of the amount you have already donated will be treated as your membership payment, and the money benefits our work in exactly the same way.
To opt for membership, please email keswickreds@gmail.com after donating. We’ll use the details supplied with your donation to set up your membership, so you won’t need to provide them again.
Membership lasts for 12 months and does not renew automatically.
Red squirrels are one of the United Kingdom’s most treasured native species, but they remain under threat from invasive grey squirrels and the squirrelpox virus they can carry.
Keswick Red Squirrel Group’s volunteers work across Keswick and the surrounding area, monitoring red and grey squirrel populations, responding to sightings and carrying out practical conservation work to help protect our remaining red squirrels.
Your donation helps us continue this work.
Donations support practical conservation activities including squirrel food, feeders, monitoring cameras and other essential equipment. As a volunteer-led group, we rely on the generosity of people who care about protecting red squirrels and their habitat.
Every Donation Makes a Difference
Whatever the amount, your donation will help us protect and support our local red squirrel population.
Regular monthly donations are especially helpful because they provide dependable income and help us plan our work and equipment needs ahead - but one-off donations are every bit as welcome.
Thank you for supporting our work.
